Els treballs que sinclouen en aquest llibre constitueixen una aportació a l?estudi i divulgació de l'obra de les persones que van haver de deixar la seva terra, amb l'esperança d'un retorn que mai va arribar a complir-se.The civil war of 1936?1939 led to the political exile of many Spaniards who had fought on the Republican front or had defended the Republic, out of different ideological beliefs, sometimes conflicting amongst themselves, but with the common ideal of the fight against fascism. Many intellectuals were forced to leave the country and the last few years have seen a desire to recover the historical memory of this diaspora. The work included in this book constitutes a contribution to the study and circulation of work by the peple who had to leave their land, with a hope of returning that was never fulfilled.Der Spanische Bürgerkrieg (1936?1939) führte viele Spanier ins politische Exil, die auf Seiten der Republik kämpften oder die Republik aus verschiedenen ideologischen Überzeugungen heraus verteidigten, welche mitunter im Kampf miteinander standen, aber durch das gemeinsame Ideal des Kampfes gegen den Faschismus geeint wurden. Viele Intellektuelle sahen sich dazu gezwungen, das Land zu verlassen, und in den letzten Jahren wollte man die geschichtliche Erinnerung jener Diaspora wiederherstellen. Die im vorliegenden Werk vereinten Arbeiten stellen einen Beitrag zum Studium und der Verbreitung des Werks der Personen dar, die ihre Heimat verlassen mussten, in der Hoffnung auf eine Rückkehr, die sich nie erfüllte.
